John Van Hamersveld Contemporary Post Future!

John Van Hamersveld is an American graphic artist, designer, and illustrator. John grew up in and was influenced by the South Bay and California Beach culture. He began his professional career as the art director of surfing magazine, Surf Illustrated. By mid-1960s, Van Hamersveld’s groundbreaking promotional poster for the cult surf film, The Endless Summer, gained international recognition and praise.

Gregg Wilensky at Lois Lambert Gallery

Lois Lambert Gallery presents "Hovering, Photographs at the Boundaries of Nature" a collection of digital phtography by Gregg Wilensky. Gregg has traveled world wide to photograph images that capture what he calls "moments of contemplative stillness in nature." Once he feels he has the image, he heads for the "digital darkroom." Wilensky's work explores the line between abstraction and realism.

Based in Torino Italy, car designer and classic automotive artist, Maurizio Corbi, is renowned for his design work on world-class Ferraris and also for his private collection of meticulously detailed European classic car artworks. Mowbray International recently hosted an art viewing and reception at Il Fornaio restaurant in Beverly Hills.
