Fine Art Photographs
Nash Editions has a long history of digital printing experience, producing very high quality images in color and black & white for the discerning fine art photographer.
We can start creating your fine art edition from a digital file or by scanning a negative, transparency, or print. We are happy to consult with you on paper selection in
order to convey your vision through our selection of high quality fine art and photographic papers. Our wide-format printers are capable of producing 59" wide by 10'
prints. The digital printing process allows you to print your limited edition as needed; without the worry of a large investment in cost and storage. With the Epson
UltraChrome ink technology we are able to offer the most archival pigment print available today.
Fine Art Giclées
The print medium term "giclée" was created in 1991 by our former printmaker, Jack Duganne. At that time our fine art clientele preferred a term that did not include
"computer" or "digital." Today giclée has evolved to describe any high-quality, digitally produced, fine art print. Whether you prefer to call it a giclée or a digital fine
art print, Nash Editions has been producing high quality fine art reproductions for many artists and printmakers for over 20 years.
Digital printmaking technology is an exceptional process for fine art reproduction of original and one-of-a -kind artworks such as watercolors, oils, acrylics, and collage.
Hand colored photography and other unique printmaking processes can also be scanned and printed digitally. Once your image has been digitally captured, you may produce a
limited edition to suit your budget. Our process allows you to print your edition as needed without large up-front investments in cost and storage associated with other
fine art printing methods. Consult us to assist you in creating your fine art reproduction edition on fine art papers or high quality fine art canvas.
- Museums
Whether printing a large scale exhibit or assisting with preservation. Nash Editions can provide outstanding image quality in archival pigment printing and in digital
capture via scanning and retouching. We can also help in restoration and preservation of historical documents, photographs and memorabilia.
- Galleries
As with our museum services, we can provide high quality archival pigment printing for group or solo exhibitions. We have also created limited edition portfolios for
photographers and fine artists that can be marketed directly to collectors by the gallery or artist. Limited edition prints and portfolios can be printed on demand
lessening the up front costs associated with such projects in more traditional forms of printmaking and photography.
- Fundraising
A limited edition fine art print can be a wonderful way to raise funds for non-profit organizations. We have worked with fine artists select one of their images to be
printed as an edition. The limited edition can be further personalized with text commemorating the event or organization. Once the edition is produced, in it's entirety or
print on demand, the artist signs and numbers them. We are happy to advise on certificate of authenticity and edition sizes.
- Other Digital Prints
We are happy to consider all types of projects for fine art digital printing. Some projects we have produced include: Corporate fine art digital printing for collections
and archives. Restoration and preservation of family heirlooms and memorabilia. Medal citations, awards and commendations for universities and organizations. Limited
edition prints as give aways for trade shows and corporate events. Print on demand for event photographers which include standard 5x7, 8x10, 11x14 archival prints and
matting. Custom fine art note cards for events.
